The job of swapping out the lower rear control arms is a bit of an undertaking, but well worth the expense of time and effort. The end result, as you can see, is substantially different from the OEM counterpart. As an added benefit to the adjustability and improved response, the USA-built control arms are machined to what VAC calls a "tuned thickness." Billet Aluminum construction means they are extremely light and ridged, however, unlike steel versions offered by many, their construction allows them to minimize the damage to other suspension components in the event of a collision or impact - a costly and vital aspect many drivers learn the hard way.
