Air Bagging a Bomb on a Budget - Part 2

In order to have the passenger-side airbag in the best position, the over-axle mount had to be notched to clear the brake line.

Next, the bridge was taken inside of the car and the over-axle mounts were bolted to the bottom of the bags, with the notched mount on the passenger side.

The legs of the bridge were then fully welded to the step notch.

Then, the over-axle mounts were welded to the axle.

To make the ride better, Michael mounted one of the original springs under the axle and installed 4 1/2-inch lowering blocks with long U-bolts from Moon Eyes (in Santa Fe Springs, California).
