Air Bagging a Bomb on a Budget - Part 2

The height of the sleeve bag when completely compressed is approximately 4 1/2 inches, so the height from the underside of the bridge to the top of the over-axle mount should be the same.

With the over-axle mount positioned and the bridge placed directly over the axle, the distance was measured to determine the height of the legs for the bridge.

A pair of 2-inch legs were then cut from 5x2-inch square tubing and welded under each end of the channel iron.

A cardboard template for drilling the bag mounting holes in the bridge was made and then traced onto the underside of the bridge at the outward-most positions possible (determined earlier when Michael test fit the bags on the bridge and axle).
