10. Marquez applied a liberal coating of GM Thread Sealer to the ARP head bolts and spread ARP's assembly lube under the washer and bolt head. The sealer keeps water from seeping up past the bolts since they lead straight into the water jackets, and the assembly lube will ensure accurate torque readings.
