This Sweet Socal Harley Softail Is A Real Attention Grabber.

Joe Advari of Wilmington, California, has been lowriding for many years, but a couple of years ago he decided that he wanted to build a Harley. Being a lowrider, you know that the bike had to be custom from front to back. Joe started off with a 2004 Harley-Davidson FLSTCI Heritage Softail. House of Kolor candy brandywine paint was laid on the tank and fenders by "Paco" in Wilmington, California.

Wanting the bike to lay out just like his '64 Chevy Impala convertible, Joe added a Legend airbag suspension with a 3-inch drop to bring it down. A set of American Wire 100-spoke rims are complemented by Harley-Davidson fat whitewall tires to give the bike just the look that Joe was going for.

Having the right sound is an integral part of lowriding and, much like a '64 with straight pipes, the Harley needed to have just the right resonance. That was accomplished by adding a Samson exhaust and fish-tail pipes on the visual end.

Moving further on the visual tip was the addition of an ostrich-covered seat and a set of gold-plated 9mm pistol rear pegs. These pegs attract a lot of attention, as it seems to be the thing that many people notice first. Add to that plenty of chrome and you have a bike that any lowrider would be proud of.
