Last month we brought you the announcement that Castrol Syntec and Lowrider Magazine are joining forces once again. This time around, we are trying to find and build the ultimate car, but we need your help to do it. This year's Castrol's Syntec Top Car Challenge is here and people have already started signing up for the challenge. The Castrol Syntec Top Car Challenge will involve seven selected Source Interlink Media titles, including Lowrider Magazine. The rules are simple, anyone who has a safe and fast lowrider can try out to be the one who will represent the "all show, all go" lowrider.
What we are looking for in the Top Car is a car that has peak power and power delivery, as well as quick acceleration, ideal lap times, top notch fuel economy, smooth emissions, overall street-ability, and other great qualities. There are several cars from different clubs worthy of trying out, some examples include the Majestics blown Big Body Caddy from Central California, as well as the UCE car club's super charged white '68 with over 600 HP, built to give those import racers a run for their money. Speaking of money, Rollerz Only also has a few cars including a twin turbo '62 Impala convertible that can show them how lowriders roll in style.
If you are chosen to represent the lowriding community, you'll have a chance to win a $10,000 prize, plus all expenses paid to get your car out on the track.
