CC. Fontana is not overrated, she's not oversexed, and she's not overly played... well, at least not yet. Don't be surprised, though, if the airwaves and media are soon bombarded by the sweet and infectious melodies and curves of this 20-year-old Janice Dickinson look-a-like. She's letting the world know that not only can she take a killer picture and be a hit on the big screen, but she can also drop a hot album as well.

Raised on Long Island, New York, C.C. moved to L.A. at the age of 14 with blistering ambitions to have a successful career in the modeling and entertainment business. "I was always focused on breaking my way into the industry whether it was through fashion, television or music," explains C.C. "Among designers, I would love to work with Roberto Cavalli, Versace, Paul Marciano and Valentino."

"As for music, I look up to Long Island native Mariah Carey as my favorite singer as well as role model on a short list of musical heroes," C.C. continues. "The artists I look up to are all the ones who concentrated on what they were best at. Having that type of focus is really important, especially when you have the ability to accomplish a lot of things."

C.C. expresses the fact that the more you focus on a goal, the better chance you have at it. This subject is definitely one that she speaks on from her own personal experience. C.C. was just seven when her mother introduced her to the modeling and acting world. In retrospect, it was a decision that C.C. greatly appreciates. Although, in many cases, the catalyst of sacrifices in educational and social normality played a large factor in her life.

C.C.'s always found herself fighting for her exotic ethnicity within her line of business. "I don't want to change for them," she says. "They always have something to say about your size or your shape, but I'm happy with my curves of Venezuelan and Italian descent. I definitely credit Jennifer Lopez as being an excellent role model of self-image."

Unlike many of her MTV-bound counterparts, C.C. also has plans of becoming a formidable role model. It's a brave step considering the media's frenzy and the public scrutiny that certain proclaimers of youth leadership are experiencing these days. This challenge doesn't intimidate this young star in the least bit. In addition to already having her own jewelry line called Christina Fontana by Guy and Eva, and recording label World Star Entertainment Group, she envisions owning a lot of other businesses in the industry, such as a movie production company, perfume line, shoe line and clothing line. "I want to create an empire," C.C. admits.

C.C. looks forward to someday writing her own material and is even interested in managing other young artists. C.C. would also like to give girls an easier route to success in the entertainment industry. Her knowledge of the industry is matched by her witty understanding of its pitfalls. Who's the first celebrity that she will date? "Uh, I don't think I'll date anybody in the industry," she says. "You know those damn tabloids."

What's in your iPod right now?
Actually I'm listening to DVDs on how to speak Italian. I'm trying to become fluent in three languages by the end of this year: English, Spanish and Italian.

How are you different than most models?
Well, not only do I model, I act and sing as well. I have my own record label called World Star Entertainment Group, through Universal Records, and I have my own jewelry line coming out called Christina Fontana by Guy and Eva. I'm a mega-entrepreneur. I'm building an empire off of myself.

What makes you unique?
I'm going to be the model who brings shape back to the high fashion world, like when Cindy Crawford hailed the runway.
