Lucinda Martinez Keohi was born into lowriding. Her father and brothers were deep into the lowriding game for all of her life and she naturally felt a love for the lifestyle. What a coincidence that years later her husband would happen to be a lowrider guy himself! The part Hawaiian ethnic husband, Wayne Keohi, had owned and built a super-clean '63 Chevy Impala convertible and had customized a couple of older model Cadillacs. When he brought home his next project, a newer '90s model "big body" style Cadillac, Lucinda fell in love! She wanted a similar Caddy for herself and one day the opportunity had come. Good friend Kita (founder of the Uce Car Club) had told her about a big body that was for sale at the reasonable price of $3,000. Lucinda jumped at the chance, bought it and brought it home within hours.

At first, Lucinda and Wayne decided that the Caddy was to be her daily driver, her only transportation between home and work. Lucinda, who works as an accounts payable manager, did not work far from home and loved the idea of a commute in a luxurious ride! As with most lowriding enthusiasts, it's not long before their blank canvas becomes a work of art on wheels! A set of rims and a custom paint job by her friend Mondo was what set the mission rolling. Lucinda considered the paint job so nice that she had to do more with her queen Cadillac. As more and more was done to the ride, including stereo equipment, chrome upgrades and aftermarket accessories, Lucinda felt a closer and closer connection between her and the Caddy. In fact, her husband says that she refers to the car like a person, calling the car a nickname, "Lulabell"!

When Lucinda takes her car to the local car shows, she will show it right alongside her husband's ride. Nothing but positive reaction is what she receives for her car. Many times, female show spectators have given her props for her accomplishment on her custom low-low not only on how it looks with the feminine hot pink color, but that she did it being a woman in the male-dominated world of lowriding.

It is Lucinda's first custom lowrider, and she is very happy to be considered only the second female to own an LRM cover car. As of right now, she does not plan to do anymore to it but enjoy it the way that it is, taking it to car shows and cruising it on the city streets as much as possible. She gives thanks to Mondo Silva for his skills, Kita Lelao for his help, and Ralph and Anthony Fuentes for the cool Cadillac accessories and the great hospitality they showed her. Most importantly, she gives a special thanks to her husband, Wayne, for all of his help and support with Lulabell. Without him, the car would not be where it's at now: cover car status!
