Manuel Lopez purchased his '06 Chrysler 300C and slapped on some 24s, added Gucci interior, and a Rolls Royce grill and called it done. After a year of hitting the streets representing Nokturnal car club, he realized just how strong the competition was and that 300s on 24s were a dime a dozen. Wanting to stand out from the crowd of big-bodied cars and big wheels, he decided he had to "go big or go home."
Manuel knew just where to go to begin to the transformation. He took the 300C to Nunez Auto Body in Phoenix, Arizona, where they sanded down the stock paintjob and laid down coats of purple candy and clear, along with some pinstripe work. After seeing the finished product, Manuel was motivated to continue on to the next phase of the build and completely redo the interior. He sent the 300C to California Upholstery, out of Bell Gardens, California, where they wrapped the seats in purple leather and stingray, and they also covered the headrests and steering wheel with elephant hide. He then enlisted Audio Factory, out of La Puente, California, to install a Panasonic head unit. The system is backed up by two 1000 Hifonics amps that help push two 12-inch L7s, nine mids, and two tweeters. The head unit helps send images to the 22 TVs spread throughout the car within its various custom fiberglass enclosures. The crew at Audio Factory also went ahead and handled the airbag set up which empowers the ride to do side-to-side, pancake, and other maneuvers.
After eight months, Manuel put the final touch on his project by purchasing a set of 30-inch Estrella rims wrapped in 255/3030 Lexanis. This tire and rim combo, along with the candy paintjob, and audio/visual set up helped to push the envelope in the Arizona car scene to another level. Manuel continues to set the bar high in The Grand Canyon State, and is currently working on an Escalade. He plans to move it along with a clean set of 32-inch rims and continue to live by his lifelong motto; "go big or go home."
