When you belong to an elite car club like Majestics, you reap the benefits that others aren't quite privy to. One advantage is being able to find out when a custom car is up for sale before its listing ever gets to a website or sales book. For 29-year-old Eric Franceschi, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, this was the case as his heart was set on building a big body Cadillac. When a Majestics member from Arizona decided he wanted to move on to a different project, Eric was able to grab the 1993 Cadillac Fleetwood he was working on for a reasonable cost.

Almost immediately, Eric began his work on the Fleetwood as he set out to make the car unique in every way. He used Chawps' paint expertise with the flashy House of Kolor Gold Pearl to coat the large body and the next step of the build began in his own back yard. The suspension was given a full hydraulic makeover and outfitted with 13-inch wire wheels, before Eric turned his attention to the interior and sound system, using his own knowledge to upgrade from stock. After completing all of his tasks and checking every box on his "to do" list, the Caddy was ready to roll!

Since the majority of the custom work was done in Eric's backyard, it seemed only right that he christen his daily driver with the nickname "Back Yard Edition." A dedicated member of Majestics C.C., Eric's big body can be seen cruising the streets of the 719 and the rest of Colorado on a daily basis. "It's my dream to grace the pages of the very magazine that helped me through my youth," Eric tells us. "It's the motivation for us to build."
