In bringing you the best builds in the game, we keep a constant eye out for feature-worthy rides, and we knew this one was a stunner. We first laid eyes on this clean '65 on a visit to Ultimate Hydraulics out in Norco, CA, as it was in the process of upgrading its hydraulic set up. Once it was completed, the owner, Keon Kidd of Perris, CA agreed to a shoot and explained that the car took its inspiration from the cars his uncles had when he was a child. His uncles' cars would be recognized as a daily fixture in the L.A. cruising scene; so naturally, "DipN" was embedded into his mentality at an early age.

The solid builder was taken to Benjamin of V-Tec of Perris, who stripped the car down to metal, rebuilt it, and shot it with a DuPont 2-stage mint green. Keon then called on the Doc, who sprayed the roof's graphics in pearls and candies. The car was given muscle to match its hustle in the form of a 383 small block, complete with March pulleys and a Magnaflow exhaust. V-Max, who installed the engine, also took credit for the trunk's hydros. The car's suspension was completely reinforced and was modified to accommodate the four-link suspension and the old school drag bar. For a setup, they installed a custom design that was fully dressed with panels built by Benny, of The Hookup of Perris. Benny also built the custom package tray that hosts the six Alpine 6x9's, which are powered by DLS Audio amplifiers. Jose's Custom Upholstery tied in the entire interior to the concept, as their crew wrapped the interior in an original mint green design.

After purchasing this Impala for $700 and adding on a few years of blood, sweat, and tears, Keon's dream finally came true, as his Impala is the first from his club to be featured in the pages of LRM! While this is the first LRM milestone for Jus DipN, it assuredly won't be their last as they are trying to have more cars completed for the summer months. Only time will tell, but for now, congratulations on your Lowriding achievement, Keon!
