Proud of his creation, and a firm believer that Lowriders are built to be driven, not just looked at, Emilio now drives the Impala daily, and even abuses it by putting his tools and supplies in the trunk while meeting his work clients as an independent contractor. He also enjoys driving his '64 wagon to city parks and car shows, adding that he enjoys it "even more when his kids are riding shotgun with me, or playing in the back seat." As this day of shooting for Lowrider Magazine came to a close, Emilio expressed to us that he couldn't have built this dream machine without the support of his beloved wife, his kids, his fellow car club members, and the expert staff over at Area 51. We here at Lowrider are happy to help him achieve his dream of being in our magazine, and continue to encourage all our builders out there with the reminder that, "if you build it, we will come."
