Engine/Drivetrain: The stock 327-c.i.d. was removed and replaced with a '70 Chevy 350 Serpentine system hooked up with a Powerglide transmission. An Edelbrock carburetor and fuel pump chrome plated by Miguel Duran. A Griffin high frequency welded aluminum radiator was installed.
Body/Paint: The body of the Chevy was sanded down and the imperfections were removed. Joe Hernandez from Trend in Bakersfield, California stripped the paint to metal and coated the big body with PPG Sandalwood. The front and rear bumpers were removed and dipped in high quality chrome plating.
Interior: The stock bench seats were removed and recoated with beige vinyl. The floor was wrapped in light brown carpeting. The door panels were coated in vinyl and the Chevy resembles a restored classic.
Sound System: With the stock stereo in place, Javier added a Pioneer head unit and mounted it in a custom pocket built to hold the new stereo unit on the passenger side dashboard. Pioneer three-way speakers were added for clarity.
Suspension: The stock suspension was modified with the addition of lowering blocks and air shocks.
