Mark "Big M" Bartlett from Majestics C.C. in Las Vegas, Nevada, loves to cruise his '63 Impala any chance that he gets. The self-employed owner of Triple A Mufflers has always enjoyed the lowrider scene and when the opportunity came to purchase this '63 hardtop Mark jumped on it.
Mark spotted the '63 sitting in a field. With 25 years of lowriding under his belt, he immediately had big plans for the car. First on the list of things to do was to go through the suspension and add the hydraulics that would make this Impala a terror on the streets. Mark wanted to make sure that the car would be a champion so it was taken to Black Magic Hydraulics in Vegas, where they took on the task of making it a four-pump street hopper.
The vehicle's frame was fully strapped by Jorge and Jose with reinforcing to keep the X-frame from flexing. Other modifications to the frame include the addition of a Toyota truck rearend as part of a custom fabricated wish-bone suspension. The frame was fully reinforced and molded, and the undercarriage was fully chrome plated. Ron then worked his "voodoo" and put together two piston pumps for the front of the car and then grabbed two off the shelf pumps for the rear.
After some tuning, this Impala was ready to hit the streets. Since then, it's been putting in work for Majestics C.C. as the car to beat. This '63 was designed to hit big without getting stuck, so if you see Mark's "trey" coming down the street and chippin' (breaking asphalt or concrete with its rear bumper), make sure to stay out of its way or you'll get served as if you were eating out at your favorite restaurant.
