Lethal Injection - 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air

A Stoplight Confrontation With This '57 Is Surely Suicide.

By Reinaldo M. Robinson, Photography by Reinaldo M. Robinson

Sound System: An Alpine 9885 head unit located in the glove box feeds two Rockford Fosgate amps-a T1001 and T4004 four-channel in the trunk. A set of 5 1/4-inch separates is located in custom-made kick pods and two T10 subwoofers are located in the trunk in custom enclosures. A color bar does its light dance underneath the dash. "Big Manny" at Big Manny's Traffic Jam in Ventura did the install and custom work.

Suspension: A stock suspension (for now) suspends the car and four-wheel disc brakes bring it to a halt. The frame and suspension pieces were all powdercoated by Applied Powdercoating in Oxnard.

Tires: P155/80-R13 Remington radials

Wheels: 13x7 100-spoke Dayton wires
