Guns 'N' RosesOwner: John Mananian
Vehicle: '62 Chevrolet Impala SS
City/State: Fresno, California
Club: Eastside C.C.
Engine/Drivetrain: A stock 2000 Chevy small-block 350-c.i.d. engine and tranny combo with a Flowmaster exhaust system was built by Felix Automotive of Fresno. The engine was hooked up with all of today's latest accessories, including an Edelbrock intake and carburetor setup and March serpentine pulley.
Body/Paint: The paint was prepped by Dave Lopez of Dave's Custom Body & Paint in Clovis, California, who was coached through spraying a perfect magenta coat of House of Kolor paint. The patterns were laid out by "Buggs" of Los Angeles, California, who laid graphics throughout the car. Once Buggs was done, the car was handed off to Gary Jensen of Las Vegas, Nevada, whose pinstriping ties in all of the patterns and designs. Steve Contreras of Fresno created the Guns 'N' Roses mural with a "graveyard scene and an old-time saloon."
Interior: The interior was done at Wall & Eades in Fresno, where they stitched in an original design with wild color inserts. The interior also features custom handles to give the panels a smooth look.
Sound System: A Pioneer head unit controls two 600-watt PPI amplifiers, that in turn power 10-inch PPI woofers and DLS midrange speakers. The complete system was installed by Shad Sanders of SS Restorations in Fresno.
Setup: A whammy pump hydraulics setup was put together by Sonny Morales at the Cycle Shop in Selma, California. The Pro-Hopper setup features four Adex dumps and eight 31-series batteries, and was all hard-lined in 0.5-inch tubing.
Tires: P155/80-R13 Remington
