Engine/Drivetrain: A '69 Chevy 327-c.i.d. engine was rebuilt by Joe and Arthur in their home garage. A serpentine pulley conversion was utilized to move the vitals, while a chrome intake and valve covers just to name a few make for a clean engine compartment. A 2.5-inch Flowmaster exhaust and rebuilt Turbo 350 round out the "go" end of the car.
Body/Paint: The color is the first thing that strikes you about this car. The PPG lavender (reminiscent of the C. Howard "Violet Mints") and the white roof and belt line was sprayed by Jaime Esquivel of Jaime's Auto Customs in Toppenish, Washington. Alan Rios of Seattle, Washington, pinstriped the entire car in whites and violets.
Interior: A CARS 1 interior kit featuring white vinyl with custom violet inserts was installed by Jeremiah Mardis of Silverdale, Washington. The rear deck lid received a fiberglass enclosure for speakers, as did the front kick panels. All were color matched.
Sound System: An Alpine 9827 head unit feeds the signal to an Alpine V12 amp handing it off to a set of Alpine Type S separates. Three Type S Alpine subs in the rear deck handle the bottom end and 7-inch NESA screens fill the visors. Baer Jones of Mobile Radio in Silverdale handled the work.
Setup: Look at the trunk and notice the three Pro-Hopper pumps with Adex dumps. Eight- and 14-inch cylinders raise it up and a set of 4-ton springs hold up the front and rear. Eight Trojan batteries power it all up and four switches provide control. The frame's upper and lower arms were reinforced. Everything received its far share of chrome and paint, all done by Greg with a little help from Steve Cates of Car Concepts in Silverdale. The fiberglass work was done by Baer Jones.
