This Sin City '64 Is Ready For Whatever Once Big C Flips On The Ignition.
When Cadera "Big C" Ennis created this ride, he had no intentions of letting down the "City of Sin." Being a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, exposed Big C to the glitz, the glory and the struggle of the city that never sleeps, and his '64 Chevy Impala is a shining example of an all-out effort to rep not only himself, but also his city and Royals Car Club.
The original cost of the vehicle was $1,500, but the total amount of money invested into this one-of-a-kind project vehicle tallied him up to a grand total of close to $30,000. With a construction time of five years, his ride is a timeless classic that can swagger on all fours or spit game on threes. Under the hood is a new crate Chevy 350-c.i.d. engine that's essentially all hand-polished, chrome-plated and color-matched. The combination of paint and chrome gives this Impala impressive whip appeal, but what's even more impressive is the time that Big C put into creating this driver.
Big C named his '64 the "Beautiful Beast" and it's with due credit that the vehicle lives up to its name. The frame was fully wrapped while the complete chassis was reinforced to ensure that no malfunctions or weak spots would arise. All suspension and hydraulics work was done by N-Sane Motorsports in Las Vegas, and once the frame was set in place, all of the body panels were again reattached and prepped by Family Auto in Henderson, Nevada, for a few glossy layers of lavender paint with violet and blue pearl.
The color shines beyond imagination and to see the vehicle in person is truly the best way to appreciate it. Of interesting note is that everything on the vehicle was actually done twice. From the motors to the paint to the wheels, this vehicle was literally transformed twice over. Either way, you look at it, the vehicle can hold its own, both on the streets and on the show circuit, and what's even more interesting is that Big C actually got the vehicle from a buddy who had it sitting on the side of the house. The vehicle was a hot mess and suffered some fire damage, but it was the perfect project vehicle, so Big C gave up his El Camino for the burnt junker.
It just goes to show you that one man's trash is another man's treasure, and, oh, what a treasure this '64's definitely become. Big ups to Big C for pimpin' his ride, and we're talkin' about real pimpin', not no MTV-type fugazi business!
