Family TraditionOwner: Eddie Morales
Vehicle: '64 Chevrolet C-10 Custom Cab
City/State: Fontana, California
Club: No affiliation
Engine/Drivetrain: Robert Chacon of Rialto, California, did a "fresh" rebuild on the stock 283-c.i.d. engine. The vintage pickup also features a "three on the tree" transmission and 1.5-inch straight-pipe exhaust thanks to Ralph's Mufflers in Fontana.
Body/Paint: Eddie took advantage of the talents at Advantage Paint in Bloomington, California. First, Advantage's Miguel repaired any of the accumulated imperfections on the 40-year-old truck's body, then crewman "Nacho" chipped in with a two-tone DuPont/PPG paint job. According to the owner, "Big Joe" at MJB Plating in Rialto plated "everything that's chromable."
Interior: Eddie found his way to Jose's Upholstery in Fontana and came away with custom Southwestern-style fabric seats.
Sound System: Eddie installed his own system featuring a Panasonic head unit, 200-watt amps and custom 120-watt kick panel speakers.
Suspension: The truck rides on air thanks to "Bear" at Sound, Suspension & More in Ontario, California, who bagged the "bowtie" with a three-switch Firestone Heavy Duty 1600 Series system.
Tires: P215/75-R15 Coker Classic Radial
