Body/Paint: Mario Gomez of the Candy Factory in Palmdale, California, pearled the Lincoln with House of Kolor paint that gives it a flip-floppin' orange-peach appearance. Flowing pinstriping by Walt Prey complements murals done by "Mr. Cartoon" of Los Angeles, California. The downtown L.A. scene murals are framed by gold-leafed panels. There were a few body mods done by Louie Serrano of We Body Shop in San Gabriel, California, including adding a moonroof, shaving the door handles and, most importantly, shaving the vinyl top (as this car was never offered without a vinyl top). Other tricks on the Mark VI include custom rear window trim and Diamond Jubilee quarter windows. Frank also found an NOS grille and NOS lenses for the marker lights and taillights.Interior: Matching suede and vinyl was used for the luxury seats, as well as a painted dash that matches the exterior of the car. The same style was incorporated into the trunk of the vehicle. The upholstery was done by Henry of Henry's Customs in Pasadena, California, and was later accented with painted and pinstriped panels by "Arizona Bugs" and Danny Galvez of D&D Designs, who also spun gold leaf.Sound System: Phil's Auto Sound in Pasadena installed a 6-inch TV monitor with a DVD player, which can be heard through Rockford Fosgate amplifiers, 12-inch Rockford Fosgate subwoofers and 6-inch ADS midrange speakers. Setup: Richard at Evergreen Hydraulics in Montebello, California, installed a two-pump (aluminum anodized high-pressure) setup with Delta dumps, 8-inch (front) and 10-inch (rear) cylinders mounted on 11/42-ton coils, all powered by six 31-series batteries and controlled by two switches. Gilbert Melendez of Gil's Kolorworks in Fontana reinforced the stress points and molded and extended the A-arms, which were later chrome plated along with the trim and the suspension by A&B Polishing of Upland, California.Tires: 5.20 Premium SportwayWheels: 13x7 reverse all-chrome 100-spoke Dayton « | 1 | 2 | View Full Article By Saul Vargas Enjoyed this Post?
