Jerry Pena is from the Inland Empire, an area about 45 minutes east of Los Angeles, California. One of the biggest cities in the I.E. is Ontario, which is exactly where Jerry has lived for the past 20 years. Ever since Jerry was little, he has been around lowriding, mostly from seeing the local lowriders cruising through the neighborhood. Lowriding was something that he was very interested in and Jerry dreamed of one day owning a lowrider worthy of being on the cover of Lowrider Magazine. Well, the life-long dream finally came true for Jerry, thanks to his major efforts with this fine '93 Lincoln Town Car.
After investing almost three years of his life, over two major makeovers, not to mention $20-25,000, Jerry has definitely made an impression on fellow lowriders, including the hardcore Chevy guys who have taken second looks at this ride when it's displayed at the car shows. It's no wonder why this Lincoln has taken First Place trophies many times and has become LRM's first Town Car in the cover slot!
When Jerry first found the car in the local auto trader for $2,500, he checked it out and bargained the current owner down to $1,500. Jerry definitely knows how to wheel and deal, as he is the owner of one of the most successful tire and wheel shops in the I.E., Ontario Tire & Wheels. Within just two weeks, the car was sitting on new chrome wire wheels, lifted with a hydraulic suspension and painted orange candy. Although, "Red Wine" was turning heads on the streets, it wasn't bringing home the trophies from the local car shows. When Jerry fully joined the Elite Car Club, his motivation went into full effect. Jerry was determined to really pour it on with this smooth ride.
The hydros and paint were redone and some crazy cool body modifications were thrown in to make this the hottest Town Car in town. These unique customizations kept Jerry ahead of the game, making him a winner at all car shows. Believe it or not, Jerry is not done yet. Off the record, Jerry did specify what new customizations are in the works, but for now, the competition will just have to wait and see. In the meantime, Jerry is looking for a new project, preferably a convertible Chevy Impala that he can fix up and later hand down to his son (who is currently five years old). In the meantime, Red Wine is a sweet success story, and Jerry thanks his family, the DeAlba crew, and the entire Elite Car Club for their help.

| Body/Paint: | Mario DeAlba of Mario's Auto Works in Pomona, California, was the man in charge of the bodywork, including shaving the taillights, door handles and trunk lid. The trunk was molded, the antennas were Frenched, a '96 front end was added, and the rear was complemented with '96 bumpers. Mario's crew got down to business on the paint job, shooting candy red wine with multicolor graphics. Mike Lamberson of Mike's Pinstriping in Ontario added pinstriping. |

| Sound System: | Frank's crew at Auto Image Plus in Ontario had the honor of installing the entertainment system in Jerry's ride. A Pioneer head unit is at the front of a 400-watt amplifier and a Rockford Fosgate crossover, while 4-inch TVs are in the trunk with 12-inch Audiobahn subwoofers. |
