Mooneyes has been throwing their annual Xmas car show for eleven years, and each year we make sure to mark our calendars in the month of December so we don’t miss out.
This is one of those events that have more of a giant “meet” vibe to it then an official “Show.” It seems that people take more time to make sure their parking area is stocked up with food and drinks then they do cleaning their cars, and that’s exactly one of the reasons why we love this show so much. The atmosphere is relaxed and extremely friendly; with good food and drink at just about every corner it’s impossible not to love this event.
With everything from custom bikes and bobbers, to all sorts of Hot Rods and of course plenty of Lowriders, there’s literally something for everyone at the Xmas Show.
We could easily break the coverage of this event into multiple posts but for the sake of staying on topic, we decided to give you a quick walkthrouth of some of our favorite Lowriders of the 2013 Mooneyes Xmas Show.
Unfortunately, this year's show and mother nature didn't seem to get along and the first part of the day was met with plenty of rain. Although the rain cut down on the amount of cars that showed up, the die-hards that stayed were rewarded with clear skies and sun towards the end of the day. We can't wait for next year's show, who knows, maybe this time mother nature will decide to play along.
