Nike Boxing Promo Event

Recently, Nike teamed up with Lowrider Magazine, boxing promoters, and Mister Cartoon to help promote a special event night at the famous Union Station in Los Angeles, California. This event was a great move on Nike's part, getting involved within the Hispanic segment.

One day prior to the main event, Nike held a special press conference in Chinatown, Los Angeles, at the Chow Fun restaurant where Nike apparel was handed out to those present by Mr. Gene of Valdez Productions. Joel Garcia who owns the March '03 LRM cover car, "Hustler `63", also made an appearance with his ride on display outside of the restaurant. Beautiful ladies (like promo models Shy Love, Kelly Erickson, Destiny and Alma) and some of the boxers themselves all stopped by to get fitted in Nike wear and to check out the mean and clean '63! Even Chinese Chamber of Commerce chairman, Everette Wong and actor Bruce Locke (Lone Tiger and Mortal Kombat: Conquest) came by to check out the action!
