Giving Back

FOR THE CHILDREN is an annual charity event thrown by Pro-Fit Linear Fuel Doors CEO, Randy Mukai, in association with sponsors such as Lowrider Magazine, Car Audio Magazine, Super Street Magazine and Import Tuner Magazine. This event features over two hundred show vehicles which are all on display for the terminally ill children of Millers Children Hospital in Long Beach, California.

"This is our way of giving back to the community", says Mr. Mukai. "We're all fortunate enough to work in the arena of custom cars and there's no better way to appreciate our good fortune than by sharing with those who are less fortunate".

The one-day event drew over 5,000 spectators while gifts were donated to the children from various sponsors such as Universal Records, Pro-Fit, Primedia and Maisto Toys.

Among the star attractions were the display of lowriders and the most important factor to mention was that some of them drove over 60 miles from the Inland Empire area to display their cars with pride! Legends Car Club showed strong and positive with their luxury lows as well as solo lowrider Martin Huerta with his red '59 Impala convertible.
