For over a decade, the El Paso Street Festival has brought together family and friends for two nights of music, food, and cars. This year was no different, with over 30,000 in attendance taking in the incredible autos on display, the concert and of course, the beautiful people from all walks of life that came out for a good time. The event is truly a non-stop party that only happens in El Paso!

For the second year in a row, the Imperials Car Club from the El Paso, TX chapter presented the Supershow portion of the event, which featured over 300 custom cars! The entire convention center had these classic beauties practically lined up bumper-to-bumper. Thousands of people found the event to be breathtaking, thanks to the many different models, styles, and paint jobs laid out inside the display area. Standing proudly next to their rides were the owners, who were more worried about enjoying the fun aspect of the show than they were concerned with winning a title.

Outside there were five stages set up for the live music acts, with the headliners being the bands Bush and Third Eye Blind. Both groups gave an outstanding performance and the sea of screaming fans certainly agreed! All told, over 30 musical acts performed and there was a little something for everybody.

Modern Times CC took 1st place in sweepstakes with their super-custom 65 Chevy Convertible; while Rollerz Only CC took second with one of three custom big body Caddys they displayed.

A thank you is in order for all of the car clubs who represented themselves and the culture while taking home their respective awards. A special thanks also goes out to the Imperials CC for promoting and hosting the show, ensuring its success for yet another year. We look forward to next year's event and thank Budweiser and KLAQ, the local rock station, for promoting such a great event for the Lowrider and Rocker community of El Paso. See you next year!
