Given the enormous success of last year's picnic, Street Dreamz C.C. President Dana Powell decided to utilize a new venue that would accommodate a larger crowd. As the noon roll-in time approached, hundreds of full-custom vehicles gathered at Gilbert Run Park in Charlotte Hall, Maryland, for the tenth anniversary picnic. The virtual playground of colors was heaven to the custom Lowrider enthusiasts. The park was equipped with a playground and water rides; the location was perfect for the entire family. As the kids enjoyed the variety of activities, the owners and spectators spent hours checking out the newest automotive details.

The Young Survivor Coalition was on hand raising money for Cancer research, as well as passing out pink cupcakes for the public. Sponsored by Servin Em' Lowrider DVD's and Ink Junkees Tattoos, the picnic was filled to capacity just in time for the hydraulic hop competition. Islanders C.C. launched their Toyota pickup into the air and then dazzled the packed house with a truck dance show. Among the car clubs showing their love and support were Urban Legends, Good Times, Rollerz Only, Individuals, Chosen Few, Just Klownin, Street Nations, Modern Times, Usual Suspects, and Lowrider Connection, to name a few.

As one spectator, Patti Dukes, remarked, "Street Dreamz always has the best gathering in Maryland." "For the last ten years it's been on our calendar," she says. Between the barbecue grills and perfect weather, Gilbert Run Park was definitely the perfect place for family and friends to enjoy the finest of area vehicles. All in all, everyone was treated to a perfect day of custom cars and fun in the sun. Street Dreamz and their sponsors wish to thank all who came out and supported the club, not only on this day, but for the past ten years and sends their respect to those who will be there for the next ten years.
