The grounds of San Fernando High School were filled to capacity, thanks to a standout lot of Southern California's best Lowriders who turned out for the San Fernando Valley chapter of Majestics Car Club's Second Annual Summer Show-off. August is normally a very hot month in SoCal and it's known to be even hotter in the San Fernando Valley, however, this past August provided the perfect weather for an outdoor show.
The Majestics had plenty of space for the few hundred cars on hand that were ready to be a part of the show. New Vision, Lifestyle, Touch of Class, Pachuco, Techniques, Neu Exposure, Imperials, and a few of the other chapters of the Majestics came out to support this great event. Of course, the show had not only plenty of quality rides to see, but there were vendors selling food, chrome parts, magazines and collectables as well. Entertainment throughout the day consisted of live bands, rappers, and deejays that worked hard to create the perfect musical backdrop for the show. The Majestics held a hopping contest?as always? on the infield of the high school, and many of Southern California's heavy hitters were going at it for bragging rights as well as cash awards.
This show was a good one, and the vibe, the people, and the rides made it a memorable one, which is even better. Rest assured the Majestics SFV C.C. are already planning the 2011 date, so make plans to attend next year's show if you could't make it to this one.
