Just one booth down, Lowrider Wax had two lovely ladies pushing some serious heat as they unveiled a new line of car care products which is specifically designed to cater to our market and high standards. Seriously, this new wax is to the car care industry what crack was in the '80s to the drug game and it's the next big thing. Sure, it's kind of a rough comparison, but a few of our top car builders and contenders have already used the product and abide by it in both its ease of use and performance. Go figure; there isn't other aftermarket niche market of car customization that puts more emphasis on paint, so if it's working for the lowriders then trust us when we say that it'll work on your bucket!
Ending the show with live performances by Mr. Capone, Chingy and Too Short, the crowd's tired eyes and weary feet were transformed into a ball of energy and excitement as they rocked to some of the year's hottest jams. With heads bobbing and women screaming, Capone did what he does best and that was captivate a crowd. His performance of "Don't Get it Twisted," almost seemed to have brought a soothing calm to the crowd, while the ladies sang along as if they were serenading the highly accomplished rapper.
Of interesting note is the awesome display put up by the guys at HD Wheels. While we're used to seeing companies put up stanchions with display vehicles and rim racks, the fellas at HD did it right when they rolled in an 18-wheeler big-rig that transformed into a walk-in showroom, balcony and viewing deck. The rig was absolutely awesome and their collection of rims gave show-goers something to think about and drool over.
The same could be said of the 2006 Super Show as well. The amount of unbelievable show cars, beautiful ladies, hydraulic competitors and everything else going down on Super Show Sunday attest to the vitality of the lowrider scene like nothing else. Man, you gotta be there and feel it for yourself.
