Jada Toys had the Scarface car brought to life with this version.
It was back in 1967 that SEMA first started off as a trade show that took place at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California. Compare the '67 show to the 2005 event which just took place at the Las Vegas, Nevada, Convention Center and you'll laugh until you turn blue. Consider that the first show drew 3,000 spectators with a total of 98 booths and only five display vehicles!
Today, the show is now in its 28th presentation and represents a $31-billion market that encompasses wheels, tires and everything else within the automotive spectrum. SEMA went from its original 14,000-square-foot venue to absorb more than 1-million square feet of the Las Vegas Convention Center. With more than 10,000 booths and 2,000 vehicles, SEMA is now the international breeding ground for creativity, ingenuity and the best that the automotive market has to offer.
